I recently started going here due to a lump found in my kitty's neck. Dr. Brown knew what it was without any imaging. Cancer. He did a very aggressive surgery to have the tumor removed. Kitty is cancer free. Dr. Brown and every single person working here are kind, compassionate and smart. They also accept livestock and doggies as patients. It's a bit out of town, at highway 70 & Clark Rd., but absolutely worth it. Prices are not outrageous. They were reasonable and acceptable. They do take Care Credit if you need it. Definitely would recommend this vet and will definitely be going back.
They are doing a great job taking car of our cat snowball!
Sorry this is long I just strongly feel I want to leave such a positive review. You see, many moons ago I took my dog to a vet in a small town in Iowa for a skin condition issue that wouldn't resolve. That vet told me I may as well put the dog down as he said "it just was not a good specimen..." I walked out of that veterinary office disgusted and swearing to never set foot in another veterinary office ever again... you see my dog has autoimmune disorder caused skin inflammations & infections and he can't stop itching ...hot spots ...you name it. so my husband and I took it upon ourselves to use diet, natural medicine, anything we could find. But ultimately we had to put our dog in a cone and keep it in a cone permanently so as to keep him from self-harming and getting constant infections. Fast-forward a few years Recently we moved to Oroville and I was looking for a new vet as my dog had developed a a skin infection during the evacuation of the wall fire and we felt he needed antibiotics to get past it. I called around to all the vets in Oroville and the only one I got a good feeling from was full and not able to see any new pets for some time... however she recommended Look Ahead Veterinary Clinic vet to me wholeheartedly I am glad she did. We went to this vet today and I'll never look back, He understood immediately what was wrong with my pup and said that he could improve his quality of life without running expensive tests and he didn't make me feel like my dog was worthless. In fact quite the opposite he was really compassionate and just understood the whole situation without me having to explain it anymore...he really liked my dog and he truly wants him to have a better quality of life. I'm excited to start my dog on his new regime and hope that he has good results the doctor feels that in no time we can get him out of his cone, the same cone he's been wearing for several years the same dog I was told to put down the first time I ever sought help for his problem. Thank you dr. Brown for giving me and my dog new hope and caring that my dog will have a good life. I would recommend this Veterinary Clinic wholeheartedly without a doubt by far the best Vet Clinic I've ever set foot in.
This is the best vet in the area there wonderful saved my puppy that got parvo even though it got its second round of immunization. I take all my dogs here very careing and up alll respectful!
