Rude
The person at the Garden Drive Mini Storage in Oroville,CA is a total jerk. He was extremely rude to us when we came to pick up the truck just because we didn't want to purchase the insurance. Then when the $200.00 deposit was taken out of my checking account after me using my debit card for the rental. I called to ask why it was taken out because that had not occurred at the budget place in Eureka when we rented a truck he was again a jerk. Telling me that I needed to be calling my bank that it wasn't his problem. I asked for his name and all he would say is "I'm the manager, you don't need my name...that's all you need to know." That is POOR customer service. I will never rent another truck from that facility again. The guy is a jerk and should not be in charge of anything. When we rented the truck he was talking down to the other guy that worked there and the guy finally had enough and told him that if he had a problem with something he was doing he would appreciate it if he told him when a customer was not around. Not to mention, there was like two dogs inside the building just running around and coming up to us inside when we were trying to rent the truck...Nasty!
I am sorry to hear about your experience there... I have heard some stories myself. I can tell you though that he is no longer associated with that business in any way. There was a change of ownership and management. Big improvements going on there.. I give it a thumbs up.
