Big renovated clean room. Friendly/helpful staff. The price per night is fair. Bed was a little too firm for me, but I won't deduct points for that because a lot of hotels I've stayed at have mattresses that are too firm. I would stay here again.
Ok motel room. Everything was fairly clean. Breakfast in morning. However the room did feel a bit like the inside of a barn. Empty walls, hardwood floor, weird ceiling. Fine for overnight guests.
Huge room nice closet and furniture. Bathtub. Staff was so nice and smiles loved my dogs. Laundry room was efficient. WiFi free breakfast. Huge room. Had king bed chair desk table and chairs dresser mini fridge microwave. Repeat happy customer
I am a truck driver working locally. I had a long difficult day and called my wife to help me find a place to sleep. She looked up hotels in the Oroville CA area. When she saw the Best Western hotel she thought it would be a better choice because I should have quite longer as I would be registering about 2 am. She had to call to get a quote and to ask for a late check out. The man she spoke to said that all the later he could offer was noon. That was ok so she placed the reservation. When I arrived to check in a lady answered the bell. She did not know anything about the reservation or the late checkout request. When I reminded her about the late checkout request she got testy with me and said that I would have to pay for 2 nights. When I ask why she started going on about the fact that she was running a business, etc. when she finally ask about how late the late checkout would be I told her noon then her attitude changed a little. Then she asked me what rate my wife was quoted. I told her I did not know but she made me call my wife and wake her to ask the rate, instead of her asking her coworker what he had quoted. Not a very good way to run a business by making your customer do your job for you. She finally checked me in. I was upset enough by then that sleep did not work well and I was awake, showered and out of there about 9 am. Only 7 hours after checking in. I was upset enough that I didn't want to stay any longer than I needed to. I will never stay at that hotel again.
I think this is a pretty good deal. I like that they have laminate flooring rather than carpet. The rooms are decorated fairly well and you get a microwave as well as a fridge. No one above you stomping around all night. You get to park right in front of your room. I usually stay at the super 8 but this is a little cheaper and closer to the hospital so I will definitely make this my new place to stay while I'm on call.
